Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleanings, screenings, and oral health histories while identifying conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis. Educate patients of all ages on preventative care and post-op instructions, then take high-quality X-rays and dental impressions. Maintain accurate patient charting and manage the Colgate order schedule for educational materials. This part-time role includes a Monday through Wednesday schedule from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM in the Colonie area, with a starting rate of $55 per hour. A valid New York State RDH license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Previous clinical experience
- Positive, patient-friendly personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Stamina for clinical work
- Deep understanding of HIPAA and safety regulations
- Monday through Wednesday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Albany, NY 12205 (Colonie area)
