Job Summary
Perform thorough cleanings, screenings, and oral health histories while identifying conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis. Educate patients of all ages on preventative care and post-op instructions, and take high-quality X-rays and dental impressions. Maintain accurate patient charting and manage the Colgate order schedule for patient education materials. This part-time role offers consistent Monday through Wednesday hours from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM in the Colonie area. Starting pay is $55 per hour with a retirement plan and employee discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Positive, patient-friendly personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Stamina for clinical work
- Deep understanding of HIPAA and safety regulations
