Job Summary
Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive treatments while conducting oral health assessments and documenting findings. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist dentists in diagnosing and treating dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care, maintaining accurate patient records and following infection control procedures. Build positive relationships with patients to ensure a comfortable experience. Requires current RDH license in TN, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Compensation ranges from $360-$400/day with medical, dental, vision, PTO, and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in TN
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records preferred
- Experience with digital radiography
- Familiarity with periodontal therapy procedures
- Strong patient education abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
