Job Summary
Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning, while conducting periodontal assessments, charting, and radiograph interpretation. Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants, identify oral disease signs, and educate patients on hygiene techniques and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records, follow OSHA and infection control protocols, and sterilize instruments to ensure clinical compliance. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient flow within a Cherry Creek office.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to administer local anesthesia
- 2 to 4 days a week
- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Prolonged standing
- Use of fine motor skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental or clinical setting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software
- Experience with periodontal therapy and patient education programs
