Job Summary
Welcome patients into the treatment area, discuss care plans, and answer questions. Perform preliminary exams, evaluate for gum disease or cavities, remove plaque, apply fluoride, and teach oral hygiene techniques. Prep sterilized equipment, create dental impressions, take x-rays, and assist dentists during exams and procedures. Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories while adhering to all health and safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines. No need to numb patients. Current Pennsylvania license required; recent graduates welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygiene license in Pennsylvania
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Comfortable with digital xrays and digital dental software
