Job Summary
Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist needed for a private practice in Danville, VA. Duties include cleaning and polishing teeth, periodontal charting, and scheduling the next patient appointment within the scheduled time. Opportunities to perform scaling and root planing for periodontal patients, with accommodated time for longer appointments. Must be energetic, able to work well with others, and knowledgeable about dental procedures (periodontics, implants, endodontics, extractions). Benefits include PTO and 401(k); scrub allowance and discounted dental work. Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 8:30–5:30, Tuesday/Thursday 8:30–4:30, and alternating Fridays 8:30–1:30. Part-time option with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Part-time RDH license in good standing
- Dental hygiene license (RDH)
- Ability to perform cleaning, polishing, periodontal charting, scheduling
- Experience with scaling and root planing preferred
- Energetic, teamwork-focused
- Knowledgeable about dental procedures such as implants, extractions, endodontics
