Registered Dental Hygienist

Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist in a private fee-for-service dental practice in Schenectady, NY. Responsibilities include Providing dental health education, removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing, taking impressions and dental radiographs, applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay, carrying out screening and monitoring procedures. Helpful experience with bleaching, fabrication of night guards, and certification to administer local anesthesia. Ideal candidate has good communication, work ethic, bedside manner, punctuality and reliability; must have an active RDH license. Schedule: Mondays with generous biannual bonuses.
