Job Summary
Assess dental condition and needs of patients using screening procedures, including medical history review, dental charting, and perio charting. Deliver direct patient care by performing routine treatments such as cleaning, polishing, and applying sealants and fluorides. Take vital signs and radiographs for diagnosis, while maintaining electronic records and documenting patient history. Teach patients proper diet and oral home care to prevent decay and gum disease. Clean and sterilize instruments, complete treatment plans as prescribed by the dentist, and review fees with patients. This Full-Time role offers a Flexible Schedule, 401(k), and health benefits. Required Qualifications
- Individual must be reliable
- Completed dental hygiene certificate program or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene and has current Hygienist license for state of Virginia
