Perform dental cleanings including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, while conducting periodontal assessments, charting, and radiograph interpretation. Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants, identify signs of oral disease, and communicate findings to the dentist. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, discuss treatment plans, and provide post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, follow OSHA and HIPAA protocols, and sterilize instruments to ensure operatory cleanliness.
