Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Assist the orthodontist during all orthodontic procedures and adjustments, including taking impressions for study models and preparing teeth for bonding. Perform procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act, such as placing and removing orthodontic separators, brackets, and bands, while taking X-rays and ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging. Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care, accurately chart treatment plans, and maintain sterile environments by following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Ensure treatment areas are properly stocked and sanitized before each procedure. Participate in morning huddles for patient coordination and support front office duties as needed.
