Job Summary
As a Registered Dental Assistant you will support clinical needs under dentist supervision, assist chairside, manage inventory in operatories, and ensure OSHA/HIPAA/CDCs guidelines are followed while delivering quality patient interactions. Responsibilities include taking impressions, pouring models, preparing cases for external labs, fabricating/placing temporary crowns and bridges, rubber dam placement, arch wires/Ligature management, and miscellaneous duties to maintain office operations; requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adaptability for evenings/weekends, and active NJ RDA license with CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Applicable licensing required for the state: Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willing to pursue licensure immediately
- Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred
- Registered Dental Assistant License preferred
- 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- X-ray License required
- Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license
- Active CPR Certification is required
