Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision. Capture quality x-ray images and assist the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms, while discussing treatment options and providing teeth polishing and sealant placement. Support appointment scheduling, guide patients through post-care instructions, and assist with dismissal. Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines and cross-contamination standards to maintain a positive patient environment. This role supports the Dentist during treatments and exams within the Operations department at Smile Magic Killeen/Lowes Blvd. The position requires a self-starter with strong communication skills to build relationships and deliver quality customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
- Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience
- Hep B and CPR Certifications
- Understanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative
- Flexible and innovative; highly adaptable to dynamic business environment
- High engagement; supportive of leadership and role model for company values and guiding behaviors
- Strong demonstration of task completion and dedication to detail
- Team Player and great interpersonal skills
- Amazing customer service skills, great at building relationships with new people
- Prompt and timely with work schedule

Desired Qualifications
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses)
