Job Summary
Per diem, day-shift Registered Dental Assistant in Paradise, CA. Provides appropriate oral health services, prepares materials and equipment for treatment, and assists the dentist during procedures including taking/developing dental radiographs. Sterilizes and prepares treatment rooms, greets and prepares patients, exposes and mounts radiographs, and assists during examinations. Maintains compliance with safety/OSHA guidelines, records medical/dental histories and vital signs, supports patient education materials, contributes to patient satisfaction and office production goals, and performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requires high school education or GED; RDA license, radiation safety, coronal polish, sealant licenses, CPR/BLS, and BLS-type certification are required. Vaccination as a condition of employment per organizational policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in state of practice: Required
- Radiation Safety Certificate: Required
- Coronal Polish license: Required
- Sealant license: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
