Job Summary
Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment for treatment by utilizing x-rays, educating patients with intra-oral pictures, and supporting diagnosis inquiries. Maintain a clean, sterile environment while preparing patients and sterilizing instruments per ADA guidelines. Instruct patients on postoperative care and ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA regulations. Work full-time with medical, dental, and vision insurance included.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
