Job Summary
Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment for treatment by utilizing x-ray time, educating patients with intra-oral pictures, and supporting the diagnosis. Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines while instructing patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, and ADA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
- equivalent combination of education and experience
