Job Summary
Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment for treatment by utilizing x-rays, educating patients with intra-oral pictures, and supporting diagnosis. Maintain a clean, sterile environment while preparing patients and instructing them on postoperative oral health care. Sterilize instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines and ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA regulations. This role focuses on the Perfect Patient Experience through anticipatory chair-side skills and efficient treatment support.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
