Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures while ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments to maintain patient comfort and workflow, taking dental X-rays and digital images as required. Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards, update patient charts, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks while collaborating with the team to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines, establishing strong patient relationships within a practice offering general dentistry, implant restoration, and cosmetic services.
Required Qualifications
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
