Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for exams by completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision. Capture quality x-ray images and assist the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms while following cross-contamination standards. Discuss treatment options, importance, and follow-up recommended care, then guide patients through post-care instructions. Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures with required certifications. Support appointment scheduling as requested and assist with company-provided prizes and dismissal. Create positive patient environments through engagement before, during, and after visits while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Tuesday-Saturday schedule at Smile Magic Killeen/Lowes Blvd.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
- Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience
Desired Qualifications
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative
