Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for exams, capturing quality x-ray images and completing digital charting with precision. Assist the dentist with treatment procedures while setting up and sterilizing exam rooms, adhering to cross-contamination standards. Provide teeth polishing, sealant placement, and post-care guidance to parents and patients, discussing treatment options and follow-up care. Support appointment scheduling and manage patient dismissal, ensuring HIPAA compliance and a positive environment before, during, and after visits. This full-time role at Family Smiles Beaumont requires a Texas-licensed Registered Dental Assistant with preferred certifications in sealant placement and nitrous monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
- Hep B and CPR Certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses)
- Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
