Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision. Capture quality x-ray images and assist the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms while following cross-contamination standards. Discuss treatment options, importance, and recommended follow-up care. Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures, guide patients through post-care instructions, and assist with appointment scheduling. Create positive patient environments through engagement before, during, and after visits. Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines and other duties as assigned. This bilingual role supports the Dentist at Smile Magic Garland, Tuesday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
- Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience
- Hep B and CPR Certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative
- Flexible and innovative; highly adaptable to dynamic business environment
- High engagement; supportive of leadership and role model for company values and guiding behaviors
- Strong demonstration of task completion and dedication to detail
- Team Player and great interpersonal skills
- Amazing customer service skills, great at building relationships with new people
- Prompt and timely with work schedule
- Understanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses)
