Job Summary
Assist during treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, and perform quality impressions and bite registrations. Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment, execute patient handoffs, and monitor patient flow within the practice. Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies and perform denture soft relines, temporary crowns, and digital intraoral scans. Support patient charting and complete various office tasks as necessary. Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction. Requires an active Texas license and one year of experience. Full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) as required by the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
