Job Summary
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) responsible for performing all duties of an RDA and other legally allowed functions in California. Responsibilities include mouth mirror inspection and charting of lesions, placement/removal of temporary sedative dressings, pulp testing, sizing stainless steel crowns and bands, placement of post-extractions and periodontal dressing, coronal polishing and sealants when certified, with flexibility to work at other Ampla Health sites. Requires CA RDA license, CPR, and X-ray certificate; strong communication, accurate handwriting, and ability to interact with patients; capable of navigating multiple systems; physically able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and handle routine clinical tasks in a generally comfortable office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RDA license
- Current CPR card
- Valid X-ray certificate
- Ability to perform duties based on the attached performance evaluation factors
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health’s clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
- Ability to navigate through several different systems
