Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling services to assist patients through medically assisted treatments and handle opioid use. Conduct sessions to support crisis management and coping strategies while evaluating patient progress. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to develop aftercare and discharge plans. Complete bio-psychosocial assessments and establish initial treatment plans for each patient. Ensure efficient delivery of services throughout treatment. Requires a Registered Counselor in California with experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Counselor in the State of California
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Satisfactory drug screen
- Criminal background check
