Job Summary
Lead a three-bed EBD home for children aged 6 to 18 with complex behavioural and emotional needs, ensuring daily operations adhere to Regulation 28 of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards. Manage a team while promoting equal opportunities and challenging discriminatory practices, with a focus on fair and balanced care delivery. Maintain full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work, and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices. This role offers a competitive salary up to £55,000 plus a bonus, 28 days annual leave, and access to ongoing accredited training and career progression within Esland.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- A minimum 2 years in a position relevant to residential care of children
- In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations, such as Ofsted regulations
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices
- The role must adhere to Regulation 28 of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015
