Job Summary
RN Clinical Charge Nurse directs and oversees daily unit activities on an assigned shift, assigns patients, participates in physician rounding, staffing and bed flow, and acts as a trusted clinical leader to support safe, high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team, providing mentorship and staff development, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and evidence-based practice, managing unit operations, and collaborating with care managers to optimize patient outcomes within the Emergency/acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience Required or Minimum 2 years Preferred and Experience as relief charge with clinical expertise Preferred
