Registered Charge Nurse Acuity Adaptable Unit

Coordinate unit resources and staff levels based on patient clinical and financial needs while providing leadership and clinical expertise on shift. Perform physical, social, and psychological assessments; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and delegate tasks consistent with licensure. Set priorities for patient care delivery, manage time and supplies, and evaluate patient responses to interventions to revise care plans as needed. Mediate conflicts between staff, families, and physicians; enforce Intermountain policies to ensure safety, quality, and compliance. Activate chain of command or code alerts when appropriate and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Complete Charge Nurse training and hold staff accountable for outcomes and professional growth.
