Registered Charge Nurse Acuity Adaptable Unit

Coordinate unit resources and staffing levels based on patient needs, both clinically and financially. Lead the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, collaboration, and conflict mediation while setting clear expectations for hourly rounds and communication boards. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collaboratively develop individualized plans of care, actively seeking involvement from patients, families, and physicians. Manage premium pay and overtime for cost-effectiveness, activate chain of command or code alerts when necessary, and enforce Intermountain policies to ensure safety and compliance. Accountable for operational and clinical leadership, including coaching staff and facilitating continuous quality improvement. Requires Charge Nurse training, BLS certification, and a BSN within four years of hire.
