Registered Care Home Manager

Manage the day-to-day running of a 6-bedded mental health care home, acting as person-in-charge and registering with the CQC. Conduct daily assessments of prospective service users, negotiate fees with purchasing authorities, and investigate complaints in line with CQC regulations. Oversee service user care by developing individual care plans, administering medication, and ensuring compliance with fire, environmental health, and infection control legislation. Lead staff matters through recruitment, rota arrangement, induction, and supervision while monitoring daily expenditure within budget limits. Prepare monthly cash flow reports and ensure all employment protection legislation is implemented.
