The Registered Cardiology Technologist - ECG Instructor will prepare ECG course session plans, deliver instruction in the Medical Laboratory Assistant Diploma program, and evaluate student progress. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, completing marking, and arranging makeup sessions as needed. The instructor will collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to a healthy academic environment. Candidates should be a Registered Cardiology Technologist with relevant experience and certification. This is a fixed-term contract role with a pay range of $4,000 to $4,300 per course.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Cardiology Technologist (Diploma in Cardiology Technology)
- Two years' recent, related experience
- Successful completion of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification exam
- Eligible for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC)
