Job Summary
Conduct quality echocardiogram studies and perform non-invasive testing, including CCVT and pediatric cardiovascular procedures. Prioritize and organize daily assignments while maintaining excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Perform data entry using basic computer skills and communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Fulfill essential functions of the position while adhering to departmental procedures and equipment protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or CCI as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Current CPR recognition
- Must have the ability to perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies
- Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize daily assignments of the job
- Must have a working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills to perform data entry
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Experience in other aspects of non-invasive testing
- CCVT
- Pediatric cardiovascular experience
