Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures while demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups, communicating effectively with staff and radiologists. Maintain BCLS certification and hold RCS, ARDCS, or CCI credentials. Requires AMA-approved sonography program graduation and one year of hospital inpatient or outpatient cardiac sonography experience. Full-time role at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- 1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
