Job Summary
Provide in-home or community-based ABA interventions as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Implement and develop interventions from the Individual Support Plan, including environmental arrangement, proactive strategies, and acquisition of functional skills (including ADLs). Aim to reduce problem behaviors, submit timely visit notes, comply with service authorization timelines, and participate in required training. Duties occur in-home, in-community, and in-center settings (Orange Twp), with shifts typically after school hours and some summer availability. Requires BACB RBT certification, at least one year of supervised experience, NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver’s license, and successful background checks; bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- One year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Must complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen is required
