Job Summary
Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) needed to provide one-on-one ABA interventions in home and center-based settings for children 2+. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by a BCBA, collect data, run data-driven programs, and participate in supervisor-led professional development. Minimum requirements include age 18+, a high school diploma, and related experience; RBT certification is preferred. Must possess reliable transportation and pass background/drug checks; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay within close proximity to children during sessions. Positions at HANDS Center for Autism operate in Cary, Raleigh, and Holly Springs, NC with supervision weekly by a BCBA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma
- A minimum of one year experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs
- Strong preference for candidates with RBT certification
- Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Successful completion of criminal history background check and drug testing
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 4 hours
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals in different settings
