Job Summary
Visit clients at home or in the community to provide respite care and holistic support for youth with developmental disabilities, implementing interventions from Individual Support Plans covering environmental arrangements, functional skills acquisition, and behavior reduction. Submit visit notes promptly following each session, manage crisis prevention and recognition, and adhere to service authorization timelines and agency policies. Work 2–20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts during the school year or summer, completing required training and background checks. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
