Registered Behavioral Technician (Hudson County)

Provide in-home, in-community, and in-center behavioral support to youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). Deliver interventions from the Individual Support Plan, support caregivers, and reduce problem behaviors through proactive strategies. Typical schedule ranges from 2 to 20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts, after 3 pm during the school year and as early as 8:30 am in summer. Visits occur at clients’ homes or in the community, with opportunities across respite care and behavioral assistant cases. Responsibilities include submitting visit notes, ensuring compliance with service authorization timelines, crisis intervention when needed, and participating in required trainings. Requires RBT certification, NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire, working toward RBT certification within 6 months, valid New Jersey Driver’s License, and successful background checks.
