Job Summary

Implement individualized behavior support plans and ABA-based interventions as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide direct support to students in classroom and school environments to teach communication, social, academic, adaptive, and self-regulation skills. Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral data while collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families. Participate in training, supervision, and professional development opportunities. This 10-month position (183 days) offers a rate of $28.00-32.00/hour with hours from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. Candidates must hold current RBT certification through the BACB.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to remain patient, flexible, and supportive while working with students with diverse needs

Desired Qualifications

  • associate's or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, behavioral science, or related field
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral needs
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior support strategies
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Positive, encouraging, and student-centered approach
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with students
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to collect accurate data
  • Commitment to supporting inclusion and student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
