Job Summary
Implement individualized treatment programs designed by a behavior analyst using ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction. Collect and record data on client progress while communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members. Safely manage challenging behaviors, including aggression and self-injurious acts, by utilizing approved intervention strategies and de-escalation procedures. Attend regular training and supervision sessions to maintain competency. Work in our day clinic or in-home settings across Utah, providing compassionate care to individuals with autism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must complete the 40-hour RBT training program
- Pass the RBT competency assessment and obtain RBT certification
- Reliable transportation to clinic
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and Competent with working with individuals with autism
- The ability to safely and effectively work with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors, including physical aggression and self-injurious behavior, and to implement approved behavioral support and de-escalation procedures
