Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one ABA intervention to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors. Requires patience, compassion, and strong teamwork. Comprehensive training is provided, and candidates will become certified as an RBT after onboarding. Physically active role with movement requirements and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay range of $15-$20 per hour; opportunities for career advancement in behavioral analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding
