Job Summary
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one ABA-based support to children with autism under BCBA supervision. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Willing to work in a team environment with comprehensive training provided. Physical endurance to assist children up to 50 pounds, and ability to perform varied movements as part of daily activities. Role focuses on meaningful impact for the child and family; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
