Job Summary
Join Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. You will be patient, compassionate, and capable of working well in a team environment; comprehensive training will be provided. The role involves physical activity and can include lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds as part of supporting clients in various positions. Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
