Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills to children with autism; implement individualized behavior intervention plans, use evidence-based techniques, and collect data while ensuring safety. Work with a team, participate in comprehensive training, and support children in activities requiring physical effort (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds) to help them reach their potential. Role emphasizes patience, compassion, and dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families; on-the-job training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding
