Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans one-on-one with children, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Utilize evidence-based techniques to support children with autism, requiring comfort with physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Complete onboarding requirements to obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days, maintaining CPR and First Aid certification. Earn $16-$20 per hour in a structured career path focused on making meaningful impacts for families.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of completing onboarding requirements
