Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Provide one-on-one support, requiring comfort with physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Complete CPR, First Aid, and tuberculosis testing requirements upon hiring. Obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after finishing onboarding training. Work in a team environment to help children reach their full potential, with structured career advancement opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification
