Job Summary
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA; collect and record data on client behaviors and progress; assist in developing care plans; educate clients and families on behavioral strategies; maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records; collaborate with other professionals to ensure cohesive care; provide support during therapy sessions and create a safe, encouraging environment; participate in ongoing training and professional development in behavioral therapy. This role supports children with developmental disabilities and requires RBT-related duties, data tracking, and strong communication within a healthcare setting. Duties are performed in person in Brunswick, GA, with potential travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- RBT certification or eligibility
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially children
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Familiarity with HIPAA and medical documentation
- Strong data collection and record-keeping skills
- Ability to educate clients and families on behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate with BCBA and care team
- Ability to maintain accurate HIPAA-compliant records
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
