Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism in home, clinic, and community settings as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician. Implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and support parents and teachers while fostering a fun learning environment that facilitates new skill acquisition. Eligible candidates will be credentialed or in training to become an RBT, with required CPR/First Aid, HIPAA, and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications, and a commitment to professional growth through ongoing BCBA supervision and guidance toward BCBA/BCaBA certification. Roles may include training and development opportunities, with compensation based on hourly billable work and experience. The position supports working across multiple Virginia locations and offers both contract/part-time/full-time employment options.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed as an RBT by BACB preferred
- CPR/First Aid, HIPAA, and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications required
- 2 years of college credits
- Criminal background check
- Available 9am-7pm and some Saturdays
- Training opportunities to become RBT for non-certified
- Experience with children with special needs preferred but not required
