Job Summary
Work 1:1 with children ages 4-12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing individualized therapy programs, collecting data, and using play and movement to build communication, social, and daily-living skills. Partner with families to celebrate milestones and problem-solving challenges while maintaining a safe, organized environment. Collaborate with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts on progress strategies and take on multiple tasks including guiding clients, taking notes, and communicating with staff. This part-time role requires physical stamina for activities involving lifting up to 30 pounds, reliable transportation for travel between clinics, and a high school diploma or GED. The Place for Children with Autism provides fully paid RBT certification training and supports advancement into Lead Therapist or Supervisor roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Have accessibility to reliable transportation
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Have insurance
- Be able to travel to other clinics to support when assigned
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
