Job Summary
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position in Delray Beach, FL, Part-Time. Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by a BCBA to assist children in developing skills, collect data during sessions, and conduct one-on-one ABA therapy. Maintain communication with supervisors and families, participate in team meetings, and adhere to BACB guidelines. Requires a high school diploma and RBT certification; experience with children with autism or special needs and strong ABA knowledge. Emphasis on safety, ongoing professional development, and ethical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Proven experience working with children with autism, special needs, or in early childhood settings
- Strong understanding and clinical application of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Demonstrable passion for child development and a commitment to helping children achieve their fullest potential
- Excellent observational and analytical skills to effectively assess client progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues, children, and families
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards of practice in accordance with BACB guidelines
- Eagerness to engage in continuous learning and professional development within the ABA field
