Job Summary
Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism at MeBe's Learning Center, following treatment plans developed by BCBAs. Relay progress data to BCBAs for assessments and accurately record behavior analysis in the Central Reach system using your assigned tablet. Clock in and out, submit session notes, and maintain strict adherence to ABA and insurance regulations while helping children with lunch, bathroom, and diapering needs. Keep the workplace safe, organized, and shipshape, and assist with projects directed by Site Directors and Clinical Supervisors. Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries and voice concerns to supervisors as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- RBT certification preferred
- Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
- TRICARE certification is preferred
- Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting
- Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred
- A bachelor's degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred
