Job Summary
Behavior Technician at MeBe Family provides 1:1 instruction to kiddos with autism at the MeBe Learning Center, following treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social and play skills. You will accurately record progress in the data system Central Reach, clock in/out to comply with ABA and insurance requirements, and support with lunch/diaper duties and maintaining a safe, organized workplace. The role includes paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), shadowing with supervisors, and ongoing collaboration with families and clinical staff to support treatment planning; emphasis on teamwork, compassionate care, and professional boundaries.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
- RBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you!)
- TRICARE certification is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred
