Job Summary
Behavior Technician at MeBe Family — provide 1:1 ABA-based instruction to children with autism in a Learning Center, following treatment plans developed by BCBAs, recording progress in Central Reach, and supporting families. Responsibilities include teaching and nurturing behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills; relaying progress to BCBAs; ensuring accurate documentation; clocking in/out per regulations; maintaining a safe, organized workplace; assisting with lunch/bathroom/diaper tasks; collaborating with Site Directors and Supervisors; building professional relationships with families; and contributing to MeBe’s culture. Qualifications emphasize availability Monday–Friday, 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, RBT certification (preferred) with 45-day attainment plan, and background check; CPR/BLS and other certifications preferred; compensation ranges from $22-$27/hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you)
- TRICARE certification is preferred
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred
